Living Gently: LEN in conversation with Stephanie Felice, founder of slow fashion brand gentag.

What has your skin taught you about yourself?

That it moves at its own pace. When I try to rush through life, it shows. My skin has become a reminder to pause, breathe, and be gentle with myself.

How does your skincare routine make you feel inside?

It’s a small act of care that I return to each day. Even when everything feels full or chaotic, this part stays simple—quiet, grounding, mine.

When do you feel most beautiful in your own skin?

After a day spent outdoors. Sun on my face, hair a little messy, no phone in sight. There’s a calm that settles in when I’m present—and that’s when I feel most like myself.

How do food and water affect your skin or mood?

Water makes a noticeable difference. I feel clearer, more awake. I try to eat simply, but I don’t believe in strict rules. If I’m craving something sweet, I’ll make it from scratch. That kind of joy feels good—and I think it shows.

More sleep. Less time on my phone.

What small ritual helps you feel grounded each day?

I wake early, usually around 5:30, and step outside for a walk. If I lived by the sea, I’d be in the water. Later, breakfast with my family—just the three of us around the table—is something I deeply cherish.

How has your idea of beauty changed over time?

It used to be something I tried to create or control. Now it feels more like a state of ease—how at home I feel in my body, how at peace I am in the moment.

What does your skin need from you right now?

More sleep. Less time on my phone. And space to do nothing once in a while—without guilt, without rushing to the next thing.
