"What My Skin Has Taught Me."– Jannie Klasen
My Skincare Routine
I've always had hormonally sensitive skin and have struggled with breakouts from time to time. That’s why keeping my skin clean and well-hydrated is incredibly important to me. At home, I use red light therapy, which has helped even out my skin tone—it’s actually made a noticeable difference.
Cleansing as a Ritual
Every morning and evening, I make time to thoroughly cleanse my face. It’s become a calming ritual where I can slow down and care for my skin at the same time. It’s not just skincare—it’s a moment of mindfulness.
Food, Water & Skin Connection
I’ve become very aware of how much my diet affects my skin. I try to avoid sugar and mostly stick to water—with meals and throughout the day. When I want to treat myself, I’ll go for a handful of walnuts and a matcha latte. It’s all about balance and listening to my body.
A Simple Makeup Philosophy
My approach to makeup has become more minimal over the years. I focus on achieving an even complexion, a touch of blush on the cheeks, and a nourishing lip gloss—that’s when I feel my best. Clean, fresh, and effortless.
Midday Refresh: Face Mist Love
During the day, I often use Face Mist Extract to refresh my skin. It gives me that glow and helps whenever my skin feels dry or sensitive. It’s a little luxury that makes a big difference.
